Spelling Bee Team Challenge
Individuals age 16 and older are invited to form a three-person team and participate in this fundraising event. Team members work collaboratively to determine the correct spelling of given words within a set time period. Teams are eliminated from play once they misspell a word. This is a great way to have fun while competing for top honors and other prizes. Teams from previous challenges have represented local businesses and community groups.
Businesses also have the option of sponsoring a team and/or placing an ad in the Spelling Bee program. The team registration fee along with other proceeds from this event benefit Wallingford Public Schools.
The 13th Annual Spelling Bee Team Challenge was held on June 18, 2025. This event could not have been possible without the support of the following community heroes:
