Spelling Bee Team Challenge

The Wallingford Education Foundation’s 13th Annual Adult Team Spelling Bee will be held at Choate Rosemary Hall’s Colony Hall on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the event beginning at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Individuals age 16 and older are invited to form a three-person team and participate in this fundraising event. Team members work collaboratively to determine the correct spelling of given words within a set time period. Teams are eliminated from play once they misspell a word. This is a great way to have fun while competing for top honors and other prizes. Teams from previous challenges have represented local businesses and community groups.

Businesses also have the option of sponsoring a team and/or placing an ad in the Spelling Bee program. The team registration fee along with other proceeds from this event benefit Wallingford Public Schools.
