Spelling Bee Team Challenge
Individuals age 16 and older are invited to form a three-person team and participate in this fundraising event. Team members work collaboratively to determine the correct spelling of given words within a set time period. Teams are eliminated from play once they misspell a word. This is a great way to have fun while competing for top honors and other prizes. Teams from previous challenges have represented local businesses and community groups. Businesses also have the option of sponsoring a student team. The team registration fee along with other proceeds from this event benefit Wallingford Public Schools.
A fun time was had by all at the 11th annual spelling be held on April 4, 2023. Kudos to all the contestants and a hearty congratulations to the winning team, Moran Mu-Stings.
